Cigarettes, liquor, and a brooding male: you can’t have a noir romance without them, can you? Honestly I find myself addicted to anything that is suffused with romantic fatalism. The thing I adore about noir romances is the central character, who usually happens to be a tall, dark and handsome male. It isn’t just the fact the main character is a male. No, it is fact that he finds himself in suspenseful environments. Environments that bring out the primal masculinity within him, an urge for action balanced with an emotional sensitivity. In this editorial we partnered up with photographer Frank Louis and model Rudy Bundini to create a ‘tragic yet romantic world’…
